I'm experienced in producing short videos that tell the story of an organization, a dynamic way of reinforcing a company's brand, and heightening awareness of its mission, work and outcomes. Working with talented videographer teams, I've specialized in creating videos that contain both an informational and uplifting emotional component designed to move viewers into action. Here's a sample:

All Children's Hospital Presents An Evening Under the Stars
A video I produced and conducted all the interviews for a poignant, inside-look at the annual patient prom held at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. This was the first video ever made of an event that gives kids a much-needed respite from the pain and fear they often experience as patients. This video received widespread praise from all corners of the hospital and was featured by Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

A Special Visit From Chris Archer to All Children's Patients
Chris Archer, as a star pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays, often made unannounced visits to young patients at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in 2014. This video captures one of them, and displays his special touch in communicating with kids and families. It was an absolute joy to produce. Archer was thrilled as were the Rays, who shared the video on their social media.

Beads of Courage at All Children's Hospital
A look at this amazing program at All Children's Hospital. It rewards patients with various beads of different shapes, colors and significance when they undergo painful procedures and surgeries and overcome the fear connected with those experiences. The elaborate necklaces they create serve as a tangible symbol of their courage – and hope. It was an honor to make this video and show the bravery of these children.

An Alstott & All Kids Valentine Party at All Children's
Every year, former Buccaneers star running back Mike Alstott and wife Nicole throw a Valentine's Day bash for the patients at ACH. Their generosity and support is always much appreciated by the staff of the Child Life Department – and the youngsters and families. I covered Alstott for the Times when he was playing for the Bucs and it was fun to re-connect with him in this video.

A Day at Sam Fuld's USF Diabetes Sports Camp
Though he hasn't played for the Rays since 2014, "Super" Sam Fuld continues to hold his annual camp for youngsters with Type 1 diabetes at USF each February. His first camp was held in 2012 and it now draws participants from all over the U.S. – learning from Sam and many other T1D role-models who coach them in an array of sports. It was a pleasure to capture the magic of Sam's camp. It was produced/shot/edited in one day and shown that night at the camp awards dinner. Sam was thrilled!

Helios Education Foundation/USF Foundation Video
This video was shot, edited and produced by Tampa-based videographer Kerrick Williams and shown at the media event that unveiled Helios' landmark $2.2 million gift to the USF Foundation – endowing scholarships for the USF Black Leadership Network. I include it here because a team of us in the USF Foundation collaborated in the editing process with the videographer and I conducted all of the student interviews, drawing on my years of experience as a professional interviewer to help the subjects relax and elicit meaningful remarks for the video (which was also send out widely via social media).

Position to Win Book Trailer
This is the book trailer I collaborated on to promote Position To Win, the book I co-authored with longtime Tampa Bay Rays and MLB broadcaster Dewayne Staats. Done as a "book trailer" in the mode of a movie trailer, this short video – in which I interview Dewayne about his impressive career – helped launch our book campaign, which saw Position to Win reach the No. 1 new baseball spot on Amazon.com.
